Task 5: Your Career

I graduated from school in 2006. In that moment I`ve decided to study architecture. I was there only one semester, I couldn't stand the subjects and my body couldn't resist the fact of sleep daily only three hours. So in 2008 I got in Anthropology and I really love it. I met this career for my hunt, she works as an antropologhy and I found interesting, that is why I decided to study this.
My favorite subject is Anthropology III,and it`s about the theory of this career, it's very interesting because it can be seen the different point of view of many famous intellectuals throughout history.
This career contributes many profesional areas (cultural, social, ethnic, human rights, etc), because it realize different type of studies , for example the study of the cultural impact of the contruction of a thermoelectric center in a little comunity in the north of our country.

Anthropology has the mission to conserve the cultural aspect that define our identity, but for this, the proyects and studies must be backed with quantitative -statistical- and qualitative- interviews, focus group-methods to ensure their sustainability.

Task 4: A Photograph

This picture was taken by a famous photographer, his name is Eric Lafforgue.
Eric Lafforgue is French and lives in Toulouse; he has a multimedia company called "La crea Multimedia". He usually take pictures of people from exotic places, for example Ethiopia, Venice, India, etc.

This Photograph shows a tribe from Africa, and the ornaments used in their rituals -performed only by men. Eric gives greater depth to the picture with increased contrast between black and white shades, this is achieved through photoshop.

The date on which it was taken is not specified, but is including on a travelling that will last until the end of april 09'.

I love this kind of pictures, because they represents different types of realities and expresions of life around all over the world. They allow us to know the customs of many places; places you might never travel.

If you want to see more photographs of the places that Eric Lafforgue has visited, click this link.

Task 2 //Technology// : My Notebook.

My favorite tecnology is my notebook, well....actually it's not mine: my dad bought it like two years ago for him, but I'm who use it the most, so it is like mine.
I use my notebook specially to do work for the university and connect to messenger and talk with my friends every day . It's very comfortable because it has Wifi so I can move all over the house if I want to.

For me these piece of technology is very important because it contains a lot of photographs and videos of vacations, birthdays and campings, with my family and friends; it also has a lot of books that i've downloaded.

I get use to my notebook, its definitely better than a computer, I think I can`t live without him; it's sad to think that maybe I became a slave of him, but also it's necesary to admit that this type of tecnology allows us to comucate with friend and family all over the world, to share pictures, videos and even to have a video-call directly with them.
