Task 8:"Do Schools Kill Creativity?"

In first place Ken Robinson refers to the importance of education and creativity.
Sets that today are not used to mistakes, and therefore can hardly express our creativity. In this way, when we become adults, we use to lost the capacity for creativity for fear of being wrong. Therefore the state is educating people out of their creative abilities.
Ken Robinson said that even when you travel around the world, you would always find the same type of educational structure with a ranking of subjects like mathematics and language on top and with less importance arts and music, he wondered why?
I believe that the educational structure limits the development of students on different areas, because it teaches that there are certain classes that are more important than others for education and performance.
It´s rooted during this century, perhaps culturalment, in many countries, the goal that students must reach careers or professions of prestige and money, this is why music career is not good looks.
Therefore, the issue of intelligence and education, should look from various viewpoints in this way for students to develop a complete and comprehensive and thus not limiting the creativity.

From now to five years, I would like in first place to be graduated from Anthropology ( I don´t now yet which especialty ), also I would like to travel to Europe to make a master or get any other Phd.
I hope by then to have a work, could be on a ONG, laboratory (to work with mummies), proyects on field or excavations. I want to work on a place that I enjoy it (it's de ideal, Isn't it ? ). On the other hand I would like to make money to help my family and mi brother to pay his College, because he is going there in two years.
With my work and effort I hope to get a flat on a nice neighborhood (maybe on Providencia or Ñuñoa), and live with friends or with a boyfriend if exist one on that time.
I want to keep studyng (paid by myself) because I think that exist many interesting areas to specialize and with this get a better curriculum. However I would like also to fulfill myself on a personal way, maybe in more that five years I would like to conform a family and established in some place with them, maybe out of Santiago, to have more peace.
Perhaps my life it`s not gonna be as I wroted, but I hope that will be good or better.

Task 6: The Best In Your Area

As a student of Anthropology, i don't know yet many professionals to criticize who is the best; however in my opinion and because I know her better, I think that the best in my area is my aunt. Her name is Angelica Wilson, she studied Anthropology in de 70', in that time she had her first child, so she has to work and studied; after she graduates obtained a grade of gender.
After many work she and a friend founded an ONG (non-governmental) about gender studies called CEDEM ( Centro de estudios para la Mujer), this institution specialize working with women from mapuche ethnic and promoting economic projects for the emergence of these communities, an example of this are "Artesanias de Chile" located on the cultural centre of La Moneda, who exhibit and sell mapuche jewelry and looms to the general public. The production of this products are one hundred percent manually.

I really like her because is a effort woman, who has worked very hard to obtain what she want, she has made a nice work with mapuche communities to insert them to the work field of this days . =)
